PENÉLOPE VD BLEUKHOEVE Z

OVER

Penélope vd Bleukhoeve Z is the kind of mare that makes riding young horses genuinely exciting.

Sharp, switched-on and naturally athletic, she approaches every fence with confidence and enthusiasm. She is quick off the ground, careful with the poles and remarkably light in her body, allowing her to react instantly while keeping her jump fluent and balanced. There is real quality in every effort, but above all, she gives her rider the feeling that she is completely committed to the job.

Penélope is not simply talented; she is enjoyable. Her willingness to work, competitive instinct and responsive way of going make her a mare with whom a rider can build a genuine partnership. She has the energy and reflexes for the sport, combined with the mentality to keep progressing.

Her pedigree provides valuable confirmation. Her dam is a daughter of the renowned Welfe vd Heffinck, making Penélope related to Daedalus van T&L, successful at 1.60m level, and Its Lotto 111, competing internationally at the highest level.

Welfe vd Heffinck herself belongs to the celebrated Kinnette family. She is a full sister to Souvenir vd Heffinck and CP Aprilla, both 1.60m performers, and a maternal sister to Quel Homme vd Heffinck, also successful at 1.60m level.

A sharp, talented mare with a wonderful feeling under the saddle — and a family that confirms the quality she shows herself.
